We at China Bend Vineyards have come to making wine with the notion that wine is food. Our background as growers and processors of certified organic foods has shown us that the best foods, that is the most nutritious and flavorful foods, are those produced in the most natural and simple ways.
We are a boutique winery located on a farm in the Nisqually Valley, near Olympia, Washington. The farm is the head waters for the Medicine Creek and the creek eventually joins with the McCallister Creek and then into Puget Sound.
Dennis and Nancy Rice Parr have always had a passion for nurturing and growing plants both indoors and outdoors. Dennis grew up in a farming family in Southern Wisconsin and Nancy grew up in a gardening-fishing-hunting family in Kalispell, MT.
