Code of ethics
It’s pretty simple really: We don’t post things that we don’t believe. We show wineries, vineyards, winermakers, bottles, food, and restaurants because we like them. Where there is advertising, we will ensure that it is spelled our with either a "Advertisement" tag or the words "Sponsored by". We use Ad Networks on occasions however we have little control over the content of those advertisments. We do our best to make sure that irrelevant ads to not appear in those boxes however occasionally you will see a belly fat ad (what is the deal with those!)
We're a community site that works like a real life community. If you find people that are not being good community members, contact us and we will sort it out. Like in a community, don't put your personal information out where people can grab it. Policies are pretty simple too: You control your personal information. Dorks and Corks helps you share information with your friends and people around you by connecting with 3rd aprty services such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google +. It is at your discretion as to what you share on each of those services.
If you DO NOT want to share your information, please DO NOT share your information.
You may access the information of others. Don't post what you don't want others to search, don't access what you don't want to see. Everything will be so much better if we just do that.
Dorks and Corks serves up information about wine and occasionally spirits. The intended audience is of legal drinking age in the country of residence. By reading the site you accept that you are of legal drinking age. The wineries, logos, brand names and other community posted items are meant to be information only. If you would like an item to be removed, please contact us.

Notes on Facebook
We have increased Facebook's presence on our site over the years despite our concerns over the lack of privacy, but we understand that Facebook is where the online world is right now. We try to integrate in the lightest way possible from a privacy standpoint, allowing you to login, share, and comment using Facebook's own APIs and using as little data as possible to do so. What they do with the information you are posting only Facebook knows, but we won't use it against you.
Enjoy using Dorks & Corks, we appreciate you taking the time to check us out!
